Questions, examined.

What happens after the free trial?
After 7 days, your chosen plan begins and you're billed. Cancel any time before then and you won't be charged at all. Your trial includes everything — nothing is held back.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription any time through Paddle, our payment provider. You keep full access until the end of your billing period. Your brazier dims; it doesn't die. Your reflections stay yours.
What's your refund policy?
If Stoic Habits isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase at recoverykingsco@gmail.com and we'll refund you in full. Refunds are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record — they handle all payments and appear on your statement.
What's free and what's paid?
Your first session is free, before any trial and without a card. The 7-day trial then gives you full access to everything. After that, a subscription covers the daily rituals, the living Stoa world, all four rooms, and Senecai.
Is this therapy?
No. Stoic Habits is a tool for daily reflection and self-discipline, built on Stoic philosophy. It is not therapy, medical care, or mental-health treatment, and Senecai is not a counselor. If you're struggling, please speak to a qualified professional.
Who — or what — is Senecai?
Senecai is an AI advisor grounded in the public-domain Stoic texts: Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, Seneca's Letters, and Epictetus' Discourses and Enchiridion. It draws its counsel from those sources rather than the open internet. It's a study companion for the practice — not a person, not a guru, and not a substitute for professional advice.
